Nasturtium

I always throw a few sacrificial nasturtiums in the green house to try to keep the whitefly at bay. This year I wanted to get a study painted before they get to the straggly and rather glum stage which comes upon them all too quickly.

Trying to get deep, saturated colour in watercolour can be tricky - especially in red and orange both of which can become flat very easily.
